Check out this video. I did some filming with Triple Echo Productions for the Adventure Show on BBC2 Scotland. Dr Andrew Murray will be running from the top of Scotland to the sand dunes of the Sahara, covering just short of 3000 miles, in 85 consecutive days (that's over 100 marathons!!)
He's aiming to raise £100,000 for the Yamaa Trust charity to help reduce poverty in the South Gobi region of Mongolia.
If you'd like to donate some money (lets face it, it's well deserved!!) you can do so by clicking here
Oh, and some of the footage is from a Go Pro camera..

Winter has arrived..
Well up north anyway!
After the dry tooling comp at the Ice Factor in Kinlochleven on Saturday we decided to shake off the hangover and go for a plod in Glencoe to see what the winter conditions are like. To my surprise, winter conditions had arrived!! Quite exciting really!!

At the end of some amazing filming - Photo: Triple Echo / Dom Scott |
The 5 Climbs, 5 Islands, 5 Days film from Triple Echo Productions will be shown on BBC2 Scotland.
Originally filmed as a back up for the Great Climb, It will be shown in two x 1 hour shows on BBC2 Scotland, Sky 990, iplayer on October 19th and 26th at 19.00
From Dave's blog - "We travelled about the Hebrides on a big boat, attempting some really hard new routes back to back over 5 days. You’ll have to watch the programmes to see the outcome but I can tell you it was the best trip I’ve had new routing in the Hebrides, certainly one of the hardest and definitely with the most falls! The culmination of the trip trying a brilliant 2 pitch line of perfect black Gabbro on St Kilda was unbelievable."

The Great Climb
Filming on the Great Climb is definitely the best job I've ever been involved with. It was truly memorable in so many ways.
For me it was 5 days on Harris for the live broadcast, plus another week earlier in the summer filming the triple 5, but for many it was several years in the making. A great effort by all involved. Find out more on the Triple Echo Productions website.
